Wow, you know a lot of Friday's are just a regular day of the week. Yesterday morning as I was reflecting on what all was going on this particular day I realized it was not just a regular Friday.
First, it was GOOD FRIDAY. It was the day Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we may have eternal life. I hope everyone took time to reflect on what HE did for us on that day about 2000 years ago. And remember it does not end there because tomorrow we celebrate that HE IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED!!!! If you do not know Him as your personal Lord and Savior why wait any longer, why not let Him become Lord of your life today!
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5 (NIV)
Second, April 10th would have been our 36 week mark for the little girl that we lost through miscarriage in September. It would have been the day the doctors would have tested to see if she was ready to make her appearance into the world....rather she was born into Heaven and is celebrating this Easter weekend with Chirst and her big sister Kate....can you imagine what a celebration they must be having in Heaven! Although my heart still breaks over the loss of 2 children it does comfort my soul to know they are spending eternity with our Lord and Savior and one day, when my time on this earth is done I will join them.
Third, this particular Friday is the last Friday before April 15th!!!! YIPEEEEE!!!! As most of you know I love my Friday's off but work about 4 Friday's before big deadlines....so this is the last Friday for tax season and I will be back to my regular schedule next week!!!!!!
The other big thing that happened yesterday was litte Miss Sadie had to go to the vet. We found out she has a bladder infection....poor little girl....I could tell something was just not "right" so Hubby told me on Thursday I could take her in....she is on antibiotics for 2 weeks and then we go back for another test to see if it has cleared up....
Ok, and now for the Baby Update....not much new news this week....my doctor appointment was good....my doctor was out sick so I had to see another doctor in the practice....and she asked me if I was eating enough!!!!! I told her I eat plenty...but I have not gained near the weight that I gained with Kate so this time I am on the low end rather than the high end of the weight gain (so far anyway)....actually my doctor and I have talked about this in the past and she said I am doing fine on my weight this time...I have definitely noticed an increase the past month or so......
