Yum!!!

So we finally started E on solids the first part of February! We were going to start on January 21st but we ended up in the emergency room on the night of January 20th and they put her on antibiotics - so we did not want to start the food at the same time just in case she had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics or the food - we would know which one it was from. Anyway, we have been on Rice Cereal since the first part of February. Each week or so we add another food. So far she has had sweet peas, squash and this week we were going to add green beans. She actually had green beans today and seemed to really like them but we have been to the doctor twice since February 3rd (that is when she went in for her RSV follow-up) and the two times since (one of those times being today) she has lost weight. So, she and I have an appointment with the lactation nurse tomorrow - but when I talked to her today she told me that it is possibly due to her switching over to solids and not getting as many calories. So, she told me that I need to choose foods that are high in calories. Ok, just back in December, her doctor told me we were feeding her too much - today he told me to make sure she is getting milk at least 5-6 times a day and that is in addition to her food. So here are a few pictures of her eating! She has loved everything so far and has really figured out how to use the spoon. We do not even have to put a bib on her anymore because the food goes in her mouth and a little around her mouth now.  All of these pictures were made when we ALWAYS put a bib on her.  I need to check my camera because it looks like in all of these pictures she is eating ceral - I will have to find the pictures of her eating her vegetables!
