Good Friday & Saturday

Friday was Good Friday! I hope each person reflected over the weekend of what Easter really is all about. It is not about the eggs and the bunny rabbits that is for sure but about our Lord Jesus Christ and that he died for us and He rose again!!  We sang a song Friday night at Good Friday service that I love....now it is another one of my favorite songs:)

The chorus to the song You Humble Me says:

"I fall on my face

completely undone

confounded by grace, astounded by love

a love so amazing, love so divine

taking my place on a cross that was mine."

And then one of the lines in the song says "How can it be with your final breath You gave me life".   I know that Jesus died for our sins but something about that line in this song really makes you think (or makes me think).  Love, love, love this song!  I can not find who sings this song or who wrote this song to give them credit.  If you know who wrote it or sings it I would love for you to leave a comment and let me know!!!

I took a few pictures of the Princess before we went to church on Friday night.  As you can tell in the picture her dress is long. I think long dresses on little girls are so cute but she must have had trouble playing in it Friday night while in the nursery because when I picked her up one of her teachers told me I really needed to cut her dress off...I feel bad that she was having trouble playing in it...but she looked cute I thought!!!  The picture above is also from Friday night.

Saturday we got up and headed to a local grocery store that had an egg hunt!  I think the princess really had fun at it.  There was a bunny there and she was not scared of him at all.  I got this picture...I should have had hubby hold her so I could have gotten a closer picture but at least I have a picture!!

After we finished the first little egg hunt we met some friends at one of the big egg hunts in our town.

Can you tell that one of my friends that was there with us was helping the Princess get eggs in her basket! The sad thing was that a few minutes later there were ants all in her basket!    OK, I have got to go to bed....I will try and blog tomorrow about Sunday and Monday....then I can also explain why in the world I am still up this late!
