This year we did something a little different. We took her flowers and balloons to the cemetery which we always do but this year I also picked up cupcakes. My friend Jen met us out there and took pictures for me this year. As I type this I am hoping she will email me a couple of the 143 that she took so I can include them in this post. If not, I will include them in another post soon. We were just getting the cupcakes out and I heard a voice behind me saying something about cupcakes and it was my friend Alesha and her youngest son bringing balloons and a stuffed animal. I have to add that every year on Kate's birthday Alesha and her family and Sherry and her husband always bring balloons and usually a stuffed animal too. The Princess did not quite let the balloon go the way I imagined this year but that is just how it happened.
Thanks to all of you that have left us messages that you are praying for us today...it means so much! We have only made it through this journey by the Grace Of God! He has carried us each step of the way...there are days that are still hard...definitely not as many as there were in the beginning and like people always said they are fewer and further apart but I don't think they will ever completely go away.
Kate, we miss you so much....your short little life here on earth taught us so much....we love you and even though you are not here with us you are always in our heart...you will never be forgotten sweet baby girl!!
