Coupons, Coupons, Coupons!!!

So something some of you may not know about me is I like to coupon....I love a sale.....and I am frugal most of the time or so I think I am.....I guess Hubby would be the real judge of that one:).....anyway, during tax season I always get behind on my couponing and have to catch up. I have been caught up for a month or so now and getting back in the groove. Two weeks ago when I went to get a double paper (so I would have 2 sets of coupons) I almost fell out to see that they went up to $5.....ok, our double papers have only been $3.....so normally I get a double paper and then cut my coupons.....organize them in my 3 ring binder, go through my sale papers and then shopping....I have decided that once Jr. is here that she/he and I will let couponing be one of our outings each week....and we can just go up and down the isles (in the morning hours when the store is not as busy) and find all the in store specials that were not in the sale paper.....anyway....today I went couponing and saved 56%! Ok, I really like the percentage of savings to be higher than that but 56% is ok especially when I had to buy meat, bread, etc...things that I did not have coupons for and just was able to take advantage in the store sales... Some of the great deals I got today using my coupons.....

Anyway, that is just some of my savings today! There were also some great meat sales today!

Little Sadie

Well, I think sweet little Sadie is really getting me ready for not sleeping all night and staying home all day.....on Saturday I had to take her to the Emergency Vet Clinic....she had woke me up at 4:00 AM to go outside.....and then I realized at 1:00 (of course her vet closed at 12:00) that there was something still wrong.....well, my visit to the Emergency Vet Clinic was not so great....I was NOT very impressed with the doctor she had.....he even acted scared of her.....a lab for goodness sakes....a dog that thinks she needs to greet everyone. Anyway, I explained all her symptoms and even that she is just laying around and he informed me that she was hyper...what do you expect when a dog is in a new place sniffing 100 different animal smells and all new people......well, as Saturday went by I thought maybe she was a little better but then this morning she woke me up at 4:15 to go outside.....I ended up staying home from church today so that I could let her outside when she needed to go out.....and so glad I did because she had to go out several times......so the quality of this picture is not great....it is taken from my phone....it is her just laying on a blanket on our bed.....look at those sad little eyes......I have a feeling we will be going to see her regular vet Tuesday!!!!

Doctor's Visit & Sono Picture

My doctor's visit this past week went well.....I measured the number of weeks I am and did not gain weight!!! I keep reminding myself that each week is one week closer to the delivery day.....and one less weekend that we have to get things in order at home......I have also included one of the 3D pictures from my sono a couple of weeks ago.....some people have told me this picture looks like a boy and someone even told me they thought this picture looked liked Hubby.....

In My Fathers House Are Many Mansions......

Last Friday we attended a friends step-dads funeral. Since January I have attended three funeral and in the past year I have been to quite a few. I was talking to my friends cousin before the service started and she reminded me that at our age we will begin attending more and more funerals. The things said about this mans life were awesome. I just hope one day that my friends can stand and say wonderful things about me like were said about him and that my life will have touched so many people. Sometimes we do not know what God is doing at the time but I hope that God uses me to minister to others and that they can see Him shining through me in all I do. Although I did not really know Al that well I felt like that day I got to know a little more about him. One of the speakers read John 14:2 (NIV)

"In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

Now I know so many of us have heard this scripture all of our lives but the speaker said something and I just thought "WOW", that is a great way to put it. He said Al had already made his reservation...and I started thinking what an awesome way to describe this. You know there are plenty of rooms available....and all you have to do is make your reservation by accepting Christ into your life and letting Him be Lord of your life. Have you made your reservation yet? I pray that if you have not that you will today....why would you want to spend eternity anywhere else?

Baby Names

Ok, just for fun I would love to hear what some of you think are great baby names....now for me personally, I like "old" names and Bibical names....as of yet we still have not come up with a name for Junior...and we have to come up with two names this time!!! I have decided that boy names are harder to choose than girl names....I think we may have middle names picked out just not first name...ok, let me hear what you think are some good names.

My doctors visit went well this past week and I did not gain any weight. Last week I measured a centimeter larger than what I was and this week measured the number of weeks I really am. My doctor told me that is "ok" because it is +or- 2.....so I am ready to see what I measure this coming week. Not gaining weight did not really surprise me I guess because I have not been as hungry lately therefore I am probably eating a little less.....and since Junior is growing I don't think I have as much room to store extra food in there..one of the girls at work told me my belly is finally starting to look like a ball...so now I think people are finally able to tell I am pregnant and not just gaining weight:)....the last 2 days after I eat I then have trouble breathing so I guess I need to start eating smaller meals several times a day....Junior seems to be getting more active these days as I have been feeling him/her move more and more.....he/she does not wake me up during the night moving....maybe he/she moves more in the day and less at night but I do have a hard time getting comfortable at night when I first go to bed....although I must find a comfy spot at some point because when my alarm goes off I sure do not want to get up!

So, the last time I posted was April 26th. In that post remember me talking about how busy I had been that weekend...well, that afternoon I started having chest pains. The next morning when I got up to go to work I did not have enough energy to even get completely ready for work. My doctor told me I needed to stay home and rest and take naps that I had probably overdid it over the weekend and the chest pains were probably anxiety. I stayed in bed most of the day on Monday....and felt much better Tuesday. I went in for my weekly appointment on Wednesday and they checked me out and said I was fine and Junior was fine...but I now know you really do not need to overdo it...but lately I have so much to try and get done on the weekends that I guess I need another day off during the week:).

Even though we are not decorating a nursery before we bring the baby home we do have to clean out the room that we are going to use for the nursery. The room we are using for the nursery is the same room that was Kate's room. It took me over a year to be able to take Kate's nursery down and pack it all in boxes but when I finally got to the point I could do it we turned it into my craft room. So last weekend we worked on getting almost everything moved out of my craft room. Hubby let me have his office since he really did not use it that much. I told him I would share it with him:)...so after many, many trips up and down the stairs we just about have all my stuff in its place in my new craft room! It is amazing how much junk and stuff you can collect over the years. As we are cleaning out we are also throwing stuff away and giving stuff away and then if there is other stuff we will be making a run to two to Goodwill and dropping stuff off there as well. We still have other closets and rooms to clean out so hopefully over the next few months we can get all of that done so we can check that off the list of things to be done....

This past week my I had my monthly sono. I knew that toward the end they were going to do a 3D but they surprised me this week and did a 3D sono. I was so excited!! I never thought I would have gotten one this early. Of course, just like last time Junior had his/her hand in front of its face and we were only able to get profile pictures but it is amazing how different the 3D sono pictures look versus the regular sono pictures. During the sono I found out the baby's head is right in the spot where I have lots of pain....the pain on the front side is just like the pain I had with Kate but this time it wraps around to my back to....so now at least I know it is just his/her little head pushing against something......

So after the sono I had my weekly appointment....everything was good.
