What's up with mommy putting me in a Vol's onesie???

Ok, anyone that really knows us, knows we bleed purple and gold in this household:)...After E was born our great friends, the Dawson's brought this over to us. Needless to say as much as we bleed purple and gold, they bleed orange and white. When they first brought this over, the little onesie looked huge....when I called and told them she was wearing it Gretchen ask if it just swallowed her....I told her not really...I was very surprised.

I also got a picture of her holding her rattle (in the Tennessee outfit) and holding her Tennessee bib! She is starting to "talk" some to. I think when I talk it is kind of loud sometime and I think she may do just the same:)!!

I'm Back!!!

Hello everyone! I can't believe I have not blogged in over a month! Miss E has been keeping me quite busy and I have alot to blog about. So much, I do not even know where to begin.

I have been working on a new look for my blog....I am still trying to figure a couple of things out but decided to go ahead and post rather than waiting until I can figure out everything.

Well, I have been trying to get E on a night time/bed time schedule. It seems to be working although it takes several hours by the time she gets a bath (on bath night), gets her pajamas on and then eats. It is like she has a little internal clock and knows when it is 9:00pm. She normally just falls asleep around 9:00. She has slept through the night several times...waking up to eat anywhere between 5:30 and 7ish!! Tonight she actually went to sleep around 8:00.

I have so many new pictures to post but I am going to leave you with one of my favorites! I took this last Saturday - it was E's first time to wear blue jeans. I know I am biased, but is she not adorable in the little sweat shirt and jeans and then the great big smile!!

E's Baby Dedication

E's baby dedication was on September 13th. I had not been to a baby dedication at our church since before Kate was born. On those Sunday's I would just sneak in late to miss the baby dedication....not this year though...I remember back in May at the Mother's Day dedication thinking that morning how I should have had a baby for that dedication but that little girl to went to join her big sister in heaven. I think I had told just about everyone that E was being dedicated....Keith's parents came and the Ellerbe's came from back home and then several of our friends that go to BFG (aka Sunday School) during the hour we were having her dedicated in came over for the dedication. So many of our friends here have prayed so hard for this little girl....she is truly our little miracle, a blessing from God! Oh, and she cried through the whole thing:).....she does not normally take a pacifier when it is just me and Hubby around but that morning we took it with us and so glad we did....Hubby was trying to get her to take it instead of crying......it was not working though.

E wore the same dress she came home from the hospital in. She looked PRECIOUS!!! I know I am a little biased but she is the most precious little girl! Here are a few pictures of her.

The picture we used for dedication - also the dress she wore.....

Tater Tot Casserole.....

Today over at Kelly's Korner is "Show Us Your Life - Dinner Recipes"....here is a recipe that is one of my favorites lately! I found this recipe in a cookbook after my husband ask me about making Tater Tot Casserole....I have tried another recipe but so far this is our favorite.....and it is so EASY to make!!!

Tater Tot Casserole
2 pounds hamburger meat
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 bag tater tots (frozen)
2 cups shredded cheese

Brown hamburger meat and drain - in a seperate bowl mix together the soup and milk. Cover bottom of casserole dish in tater tots (you should have some left in bag)......spread browned hamburger meat over the tater tots - then sprinkle 1/2 of the cheese over the meat - then pour the soup/milk mixture over the cheese - next spread the remaining tater tots over the soup mixture and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
We love this recipe!

TOO LONG.....

Wow, it has been 13 days since I last blogged....way too long. It is amazing how someone so small can consume so much of your day....but I am LOVING it!!! I have a lot to blog about...E has now turned 2 months old....we have had our 2 month shots..baby dedication was today..and the list goes on....but today I will post about Keith having to go out of town a couple of weeks ago.

I knew the day would come when Hubby would have to go out of town and it would be E and me. I had at least a week probably to prepare myself for the challenge. The challenge would be I would be 100% responsible for Miss E....every feeding, every diaper change, everything!!! My biggest fear...sleeping through her crying because of being so tired! I did not sleep through her crying! Well, my friend Beth came and stayed all but one night since it was the first time Hubby had traveled since E was born

I was so excited when he got back home! I am sure E was excited to because as I have said before she is such a daddy's girl! Here are a few pictures I took the morning Hubby left.
