You had me at WHHHAAAAAA

I have thought and thought about what this post should be titled. Unfortunately, this is what I have come up with... You know, like Renee Zellweger's character in Jerry Maguire ("You had me at hello").

For those of you who have had the privilege of seeing this new Daddy in action, I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about. For those who are still waiting to meet E let me give you a little visual ...
Yep, that is Daddy's pinkie finger. Although it is a little backwards, I'm sure you get the idea. E has her daddy wrapped as tight as you can possibly imagine around her littlest finger!

Hubby has been inseparable from his girls this past week. He has been thrown into fatherhood (that generally is what happens when Mommy's have c-sections since they are a little slow moving) and he is FLYING! He is doing a great job with all the "baby" things ... feeding, burping, diaper changing, and the ever tricky "burrito wrapping" (aka swaddling). Amanda says he is the best swaddler.

I went to visit our favorite family yesterday and this is what I found when I walked in ...
I was at the hospital for about 2 hours and this is how he and E were at least 1.75 hours of that time! That little girl has got his Daddy wrapped right where all little girls have their Daddy ... right around their pinkie! You have no idea what I had to do to get this ...

Please continue to pray for E as she figures out this whole eating thing. Although she continues to improve, she hasn't consistently been eating as well as the doctor's would like for her to. She has to have 16 consecutive full feedings before she will be allowed to come home. For those of you that are like me (not the accounting/numbers type!), that is 2 full days of eating. Pray that Amanda and Hubby would get the rest they both need in order to care for this beautiful little girl.

Until next time ... ~Frazzled
