5 Months!

E turned 5 months old this past Sunday (6th). I am posting this just a little late because this little 5 month old keeps me quite busy!! I am so thankful that I am getting to stay home with her and enjoy everything she does. So this month E starting making new noises with her mouth, aka raspberries.  She started doing that on Sunday, November 29th and then on Tuesday, December 1st she rolled over for the first time!!  Hubby and I were both just shocked when she did it...had we blinked we would not have seen it she did it so fast.  It is just amazing how fast she is growing.

She has gotten very animated!  She loves looking around and loves lights!  Thanksgiving night I was rocking her to sleep and the lights on her little tree were on and she was just staring at them....I actually had to get Keith to unplug them to try and get her to go to sleep.

At her 4 month appointment she weighed 14 lbs 4 oz and 25 inches long.  I took her to the doctor this week and she weighed 15 lbs 6 oz. 

She really laughs alot now and is so much fun!!!  She is a morning person I think right now.

She still eats every 2 - 3 hours during the day and then waking up about once during the night to eat.

We are so excited about her first Christmas!  Santa came to see her at our house on the 6th, the day she turned 5 months.  Our friends the Procter's came over to and we each had pictures made with Santa.  I think we took around 100 pictures of E with Santa and then a few of Hubby, E and me with Santa.  I will leave you with another picture of Ella with Santa.  She did change clothes during her photo shoot so this is a different picture than the one in the header.
