6 Month Appointment!!!

Wednesday was E's 6 month appointment. She is actually now 6 1/2 months! As you can see from the picture she was 16 pounds 3 ounces! We found out we can finally start rice!! Yeah! I can't wait to see if it will help her start sleeping all night again. We found out she has eczema today to. I am going to pray that it is only temporary and will go away! Right now we just have to use certain lotions on her and see if that helps. She had to get shots again but I found out we are done with shots until she goes for her 1 year appointment so at her 9 month appointment NO SHOTS!!! Yeah!! I wonder who is more excited that we do not have to get shots, me or her? Thankfully, Keith was able to go with us today so he could watch them give her the shots and I could just hold her hand and give her little kisses on the hand:).

She seemed to do ok Wednesday afternoon and then about 11:00 Wednesday night she woke up and Keith picked her up. I went in to check on her and she was so hot. I took her temp and it was 102.6! We ended up at Children's ER around midnight. Finally, they called us back to a room around 2:00 and we got home around 5:00. They said she had a sore throat which must have come on sometime Wednesday because she was fine at the doctor office Wednesday morning.

So, we have been taking an antibiotic, Tylenol and Motrin regularly around here. I will think her fever is gone and then it will start creeping back up. Friday she started getting a little cough and it has gotten a little worse so we may end up at the doctors office tomorrow or when I call them they may tell me I am already doing everything there is and we have to let it run its course.

Are y'all watching the game this evening? I know we are!! E loves football and although she will probably be getting ready to go to sleep right after the game comes on she will probably see a few minutes of it. I am hoping the SAINTS pull this one off and win and then they are SUPER BOWL BOUND!!!
