Yesterday, I took E to the doctor and found out she has Bronchiolitis. RSV is going around here and RSV is a form of Bronchiolitis. Her doctor did not test her for RSV because the treatment is the same. While we were at the doctors office they gave her a breathing treatment and he said that she sounded better afterwards. So, they gave me the info to go purchase a nebulizer (see the picture above) and the prescription for the medicine so that is what E and I did yesterday. We were at the doctor for about 3 hours and then went to get everything she needed and a quick run through the Sonic for me and about 4 1/2 hours after we left yesterday morning we finally returned home.
E was ready to eat so I fed her and put her in her exersaucer to play. I then was able to start cleaning all the pieces to her nebulizer so we could get ready for her next breathing treatment. Her little face mask looks like a dog.....I will have to take a picture when we give her a treatment today. Yesterday Keith was not home so I could not give her the treatment and take a picture. She did really good. I think it must have helped some because she has been asleep since around 9:30 last night!! Considering we have only been getting a couple of hours sleep the past few nights that is GREAT!!! Of course, while her daddy was out of town is when she was not sleeping and then he comes home and she sleeps all night....I am sure I will hear just how much she wanted her daddy home and that is why she would not sleep:). Actually, night before last I did call him (in the middle of the night) because I was trying to figure out if she needed to go in that night because of her breathing. After we talked to the after hours nurse we decided to wait until morning and go see her pediatrician. She just told me to watch her closely, sleep in the same room with her (what is sleep??) and then if there were any changes take her to the ER. We made it through until morning with a phone call to her daddy and do you know that when I had him on speaker phone she would stop and listen some and quit crying!!!
Everyone have a great Tuesday!! It is amazing how revived you can feel after a good nights sleep!! Now, if I can just get over whatever I have...I think I caught something from E because I have a sore throat, etc now!
Little E just woke up - I will update later how she is doing!!
