After lunch the Princess and I ran a few errands and she was happy until we went to the grocery store. Luckily I had brought some juice with us although I forgot her sippy cup but we had a bottle in the diaper bag - so I fixed her a bottle of juice and she was then OK for us to get what groceries we needed for dinner tonight. Speaking of dinner tonight, I made another new recipe from my new WW Mag/Cookbook. Tonight we had "Tuscan Chicken served over Fettuccine" and I have to say it was so, so, so good!! Not only good but healthy.
I had just put Hubby's plate on the table and I heard the Princess start crying. Hubby said she fell and hit the couch and was holding her at this point and I made the comment that must be the hardest she ever hit because normally when she falls if she cries it is just for a second but she kept crying and crying. Hubby went to look at her head and realized he had blood on him - she has busted the inside of her mouth (by the top front teeth).
I called the kids emergency center in our area and they told me to apply ice with pressure so that is what we did and took her in.
The doctor said she was fine. He said most all kids will bust their mouth there at some point. I was glad he checked her ears while we were there to. I had thought about taking her to the doctor today and have her ears checked since she has been so fussy and has a runny nose just to make sure it was teething! Her ears were fine to he said. We came back home, made her cereal, fed her and I heated up the dinner I had prepared before we left.
Here is a picture of Hubby and the Princess after she had her cereal. You can see the blood on Hubby's shirt but you can't see the blood on her shirt in this picture - I did not take a picture of the burp cloth we used to apply the pressure with! It finally stopped bleeding on our way there.
About 9 or 10 years ago I fell and busted my chin. I remember my face and jaws being so sore the next day and maybe even longer than that. It even hurt to eat if I remember correctly. I wonder how sore her little mouth will be? The doctor told me she should not have trouble eating though.
I am tired now! I am tired every night anymore:)!
Hope you all have had a great day tomorrow!!
