Our Monday.....

The Princess woke up around 5:30 yesterday morning. Finally, I realized about 5:45 maybe she was hungry so I fed her and she turned back into the happy baby! She was a happy baby but an awake baby at this point to so I put her in her stroller and she and I went on a morning walk - we walked a little over 2 miles. She fell asleep on our walk so I brought her in and put her in bed with Hubby and then took Sadie on a walk - about 1/2 mile for her. I was really excited that I had already walked a little over 2 1/2 miles and it was not even 8 am yet:)....

The Princess and I went to work with Hubby yesterday to go to one of the ladies in the office Surprise Birthday Lunch. Since we were going with him it meant that we had to be ready to leave our house by 9:30. We left here just a few minutes after 9:30 and made it to the lunch at 11 a few minutes early!! The Princess got a good nap in on the drive there and then she tried chicken, rice and tortillas at the restaurant. We went to Genghis Grill and the Princess had her own number for her little bowl of food and everything! She is such a big girl:).

I was trying to think of something to get for the "Birthday Girl". I remembered while we were at Disney at one of our private breakfast with Beauty and the Beast she had her picture taken with the Princess. So, I found that picture, sent it to be printed, went and got a frame and had her gift ready on Sunday night before I even went to bed! It was amazing as I was putting the gift together how much the Princess has grown since December! She looked so small in the picture compared to now. I have still got to blog all about our Disney trip (and I have got to do that soon so I have it documented when I get time to scrapbook it).

After lunch, we went back to Hubby's office for the afternoon. The Princess and I hung out in their weight room a good bit of the time because there is a TV in there and she can watch her little shows and there is a lot of room for her to play. She actually took a short nap while we were there to!

We finally made it home last night and it was just back to our nightly routine. Oh, a funny thing from last night is I decided that I would try to trim our bushes....I got one done or should I say I butchered one and then stopped! Hopefully hubby will get a chance to work on them soon!! I wish I had my camera outside with me last night when he walked out to see what I was doing....if you could have only seen his eyes and he was trying to be so nice and not say much.....
